Jian Sun
Jian Sun, currently serves as a Professor at College of Veterinary in South China Agriculture University. Prof. Sun is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including Pearl River Technology Star of Guangzhou, Young Pearl River Scholar of Guangdong province and the youth project of high-level Talents Plan of the Ministry of Education. The research in Prof. Sun’s team targets on the emergence and distribution of the antibiotic resistant bacteria by means of longitudinal surveillance, the resistance mechanism to last-resort antibiotics, as well as establishing the innovative approaches to tackle them. Prof. Sun runs four grants supported by NSFC ect., and has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles in reputed journals like Nature Microbiology, Nature Communications and Genome Medicine
